Kings...

I saw the previews for the new show "Kings" on NBC, was somewhat interested. That was about it and then but honestly forgot about it.
Then last night after I got in from small group, saw a few tweets "anyone watching Kings..." on TweeterDeck.
Nothing more than that...

So this evening I watched it on Verizon On Demand (or Kings (on hulu)
Not sure how I missed the hype, but it's the story of King Silas (Saul) and David (the) Shepard. I thoroughly enjoyed the series premiere.
It's intentionally designed to be void of pop culture, up to and including no product placement, which I find particularly fascinating. There is far more there than I can describe tonight. Watch it and seefor yourself.
I see a sermon series coming.
So I ask, did you see "Kings"?

I did see Kings.. and I LOVED it. Mind you, I am a huge Ian McShane fan but I really enjoyed the story. It seems really compelling so far. I'm also into the scifi/fantasy genre so this is right up my alley anyway. I hope it doesn't get canceled like everything else new.

I agree, I want to see this one make it. I find it really interesting how they are picking up on some more controversial issues surrounding the Bible.
Seriously, we need to do a sermon series on this one…
